The router

can be connected due with the following 2G/3G module options:

 no module connected

The usage without a 2G/3G module is also possible, but in this case the device functioning and

operates as a wired and wireless network component and router with a complete functionality of a

micro computer which is capable for data concentration and to redirect the network traffic or

functioning as a gateway. By the way, the device can be used for high capacity calculation tasks and

with the interfaces and connection ports this can be used for industrial aims very well. In this option

only the cellular/mobile internet platform will not be available. When it’s not necessary, let’s use the

device without a 2G/3G module.

GTM382 module connected

Where a high speed wireless data communication is needed there’s highly recommended to use a

3G+ module (e.g. for telemetry, topography, industrial applications, camera images/videos, wired

network traffic and wireless internet bandwith forwarding, connecting remote location, complete office

solution in one communication channel, multimedia content broadcasting and other industrial tasks,

security system’s signal forwarding).

The other situation where higher upload bandwith needed and there must be the HSPA+ service

assured. There are many application areas where must be prepared to transfer a high amount of data

and there’s important to reach the information at the target-side must as quick as it’s possible.

 EDGE: Gemalto

MC75i module connected

This module can be sufficient where the GPRS cellular network speed rates are not enough and some

more should be secured, or when the HSxPA or UMTS speed rates are not still available to get a

higher speed of access, by the location specific conditions. Some applications are not requires a high

speed internet connection and the restrained speed rates could be enough, but a very reliable wireless

network standard is also assured for the internet traffic needs (like security systems, security and

surveillance camera still images, signal forwarding, industrial applications and data transferring,

connecting remote locations, alternate channel to supersede the office communication, etc.)

This module should be offered where the it can be calculated for a decreased and square, harmonized

data distribution or the speed rates pace/promptness have a second priority, but the reliability is still

highly important, or the optimized costs are in focus. The module has GSM/GPRS/EDGE capabilities.

 GPRS: Gemalto

TC63i module connected

This module accomplish the GPRS speed rates on mobile internet platform, but it’s very reliable

because of it’s high availability (HA) for data traffic assurance tasks (like industrial and security zones

and to forward the signals and base data of these kind of systems). Anyhow, it’s a cost-effective

solution for these roles where the low data traffic is typical. The module has GSM/GPRS capabilities.
